For a project at Schiphol Airport, ULC Installation has installed sprinkler piping on the outside of Pier D. The dry sprinkler pipe is constructed in the sizes 54, 76.1 and 88.9 mm, and is about 100 meters long.

Because of client demand that the connection should be almost invisible the VSH XPress piping system was chosen as an alternative to welded joints.

An additional requirement was supplied by the client that the entire installation should be 10 years of maintenance-free. By choosing the VSH XPress stainless steel pipes and fittings this requirement is met and the client get’s a 10 year warranty on the piping system.
